Marie Wedding A bubbly, but slightly scatterbrained girl who is eager to prove herself. Tends to get lost in thought, but comes up with great ideas as a result. Loves magical girls, but hates being compared to her older brother, who was a magical boy.

Renata Moreno Marie's childhood friend. Spirited and outgoing, Renata makes fast friends with nearly everyone she meets. Dislikes magical girls as a concept, but does her best not to shame Marie's interest in them.

Chi A grumpy, smart-mouthed creature known as a Catalyst. Grants magical girl powers to those he deems worthy. His standards are actually pretty reasonable, but there are a few ways to instantly get rejected--for example, calling him old.
